This year, the Federal Republic of Germany is celebrating the sixtieth anniversary of the entry into force of its constitution. To mark this anniversary, the Martin-Gropius-Bau is showing the exhibition Sixty years. Sixty works. Sixty outstanding works from the years 1949 to 2009 by German artists who have left their mark on the national and international art scene will be presented. Among them is the painting “Hinter den 7 x 7 Bergen” by Wolfgang Mattheuer. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalog with numerous illustrations.
