Ingeborg Ruthe writes in the Berliner Zeitung and the Frankfurter Rundschau about the change in the perception of art from the GDR. “The art of the German East, reviled as “inferior” because “ideologically contaminated” in the fatal German-German pictorial dispute since the 1990s, is celebrating its revival”.
