The Suermondt-Ludwig Museum in Aachen is hosting a survey exhibition of the Leipzig artist from March 9 to June 15, 2025. Over 50 paintings from the artist’s oeuvre will be on display. Highlights of the exhibition include his portrait of Pope Benedict XVI (2010) and the much-discussed design for the central panel of the Cranach Altarpiece in Naumburg Cathedral (2022).
The opening will take place on March 8 at 6 p.m. in the museum.
