Michael Triegel

The zinc lithograph “Boy from Procida” by Michael Triegel shows a young participant in the Easter procession on Procida. He is dressed in the traditional garb of the religious community. In the catalog “Triegel meets Cranach”, Michael Triegel writes “I return to Italy again and again (…), drawing people who serve as models for works I create later”. The work can be placed in the context of the Naumburg Altarpiece. There, a boy from Procida depicts St. Maurice on the front. The zinc lithograph is printed on laid paper. The sheets are numbered and signed by Michael Triegel. The print is published in an edition of 30 copies. It can also be purchased in our galleries framed in a white gold frame with UV-protective glass for an additional €300.
