The Cranach-Triegel altar remains in Naumburg Cathedral

Following a positive decision by Unesco, the Cranach-Triegel altarpiece can remain permanently in Naumburg Cathedral – but in a different place than before. The retable is to be placed in the north transept in future. This location is considered the best option because the work will have its own, dignified space within the cathedral.
