Michael Triegel is the first visual artist to give the Leipzig Poetry Lecture at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig.
The devotional painting “Merciful Jesus” is created for the parish church of St. Peter and Paul in Würzburg.

2018

Completion of the high altar “Incarnation” for the parish church of St. Oswald in Baunach, consecration on March 11, 2018

2022

Completion of the new Marian altar in the west choir of Naumburg Cathedral. Consecration on July 3, 2022. With the paintings, Michael Triegel completes the partially destroyed altar created in 1519 by Lucas Cranach the Elder, whose works form the side wings.

2023

Installation of the three-part resurrection windows by Michael Triegel in St. Johannis Church in Plauen.

2024

Transfer of ownership of the large-format painting “Tabula Smaragdina” to the Museum of Fine Arts Leipzig, acquired through funds from the estate of the patrons Klaus and Rosemarie Guggenberger

2025

A portrait of the publisher Friede Springer is created for the Berlin Honorary Citizens’ Gallery.
