The painting Light of Knowledge (2009) by Michael Triegel is on loan to the art collection of the Office of the Federal President.
Dr. Gerhard Ludwig Müller, Bishop of Regensburg, had his portrait painted by Michael Triegel for the ancestral gallery of the Diocese of Regensburg.
Michael Triegel is also represented in the 2009 exhibition to mark the 125th anniversary of the Leipzig cotton mill. The exhibition was officially opened on June 20, 2009 by Federal Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel and can be viewed until July 18, 2009.
