As part of the exhibition “Passionately figurative. The Fritz P. Mayer Collection”, a panel discussion with art critic Eduard Beaucamp, Kunstmuseen director Prof. Dr. Kai Uwe Schierz and curator Thomas von Taschitzki will take place on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 6:30 pm at the Angermuseum Erfurt.
Based on the Fritz P. Mayer Collection, the central theme of the panel discussion is the art of the Leipzig School, its position in contemporary art and its controversial reception since reunification.
