Markus Matthias Krüger

The catalog *Markus Matthias Krüger – Weit draußen* is being published to coincide with the exhibition of the same name at the Mittelrhein Museum in Koblenz. With 117 illustrations, it provides a comprehensive overview of the Leipzig-based artist’s body of work. In addition to numerous paintings, the publication also presents, for the first time, small-format works on paper and offers a glimpse into the artist’s sketchbook. In an extensive essay titled “Images That Tickle an Apocalyptic Thrill of Fear,” Roland Held contextualizes the works of Markus Matthias Krüger.
