Fritz Cremer

Fritz Cremer’s work is artistically linked to works from the first half of the 20th century. Standing in the tradition of figurative Berlin sculpture, Cremer dedicated his work to commemorating the victims of National Socialism. He also paid homage to female sensuality in numerous bathers, lovers and female nudes with a great wealth of variation in terms of figure conception and surface treatment. The comprehensive catalog will be published on the occasion of the exhibition at the Kunsthalle Rostock in November 2018. The introductory text is by Gerd Brüne.
