Michael Triegel

The zinc lithograph “Ave Maria” by Michael Triegel is the first large-format graphic by Michael Triegel. Inspired by a scene of the Annunciation carved in stone, Michael Triegel juxtaposes the figure of the Virgin Mary on the sheet with the vanitas symbols of the mummified cat and a collection of animal skulls. The sheets are numbered and signed by Michael Triegel. The graphic is published in an edition of 20 copies in red and 20 copies in black (sold out).
