The world in a Wunderkammer

From September 6, 2025 to March 1, 2026, the Drents Museum Assen will be showing the exhibition “Microcosm – The world in a cabinet of curiosities”. This is the farewell exhibition of long-time Director General Harry Tupan, who will be leaving the museum due to his retirement. Harry Tupan takes the visitor into a single large work of art in which the most bizarre rarities stand alongside special contemporary works of art. Also on display is the small-format painting “Selbst als Wendekopf” by Michael Triegel from 2025 (ill.).
