The Museum am Dom Würzburg is showing the exhibition “Not just Leipzig!” Art from all parts of East Germany. On display are mainly paintings, but also drawings, graphics and sculptures by important artists from the former GDR. In addition to paintings by the so-called Leipzig School with its representatives Werner Tübke, Wolfgang Mattheuer, Ulrich Hachulla and Bernhard Heisig, the exhibition is complemented by sculptures by the Berlin sculptor Fritz Cremer and paintings by the Halle painter Willi Sitte.
