We mourn the loss of the artist Ursula Mattheuer-Neustädt

On March 13, 2021, the illustrator and author Ursula Mattheuer-Neustädt died at the age of 94. As a freelance illustrator, she was awarded numerous prizes for her book designs. After the death of her husband Wolfgang Mattheuer (1927 – 2004), she founded the Ursula Mattheuer-Neustädt and Wolfgang Mattheuer Foundation, which aims to preserve the artistic and literary work of Ursula Mattheuer-Neustädt and Wolfgang Mattheuer, to accompany it academically and to present it to the public.
The funeral will take place in the closest family circle.
